Dear Andy I'm sorry my English is bad. I use P8P67 Deluxe mobo with phoenixtool173b9 bios mod was almost successful but still have some problem I could not enable SLI mode on my VGA I hope fix this bug as soon as possible A lot of thank you Andy
Yes, I tried SLI on genuine bios, SLI was working mod bios are win7 activation, DDR settings...etc OK,
It seems odd, also the DDR settings before. Only thing the SLI license is stored at DSDT which is an acpitable......the entire efi series seems to be sensitive and odd. Anyway this issue needs to be confirmed by another efi version.....also an DSDT dump could help. What exactly doesn't work? Is there an error message??? EDIT: Could you please post an rw everything report of the original and the modded bios?
Grrrrr. These EFI BIOSes are very frustrating..... especially the ASUS ones :@ BIOS link and before/after RW reports please Thanks Andy
Asus P8P67 EVO 1) Update to orig 1204 2) Do RW v1.4.8.5 + 173b9 Dynamic Slic + 1204 3) Profit. Activated Win 7 x64 Thx Andy
Thanks for the info..btw is it a typo P8P67 Deluxe? That is the question, gs1000 says no. It would be nice if somebody else could confirm this. It affects the P8P67 Deluxe board. Could you upload your original rw everything report and the report of the modded EFI, please? It seems that the SLI license is available and readable at the modded EFI.... @gs1000: Please load your setup defaults save them and exit the EFI after you have flashed the modded one. Then retry to enable nvidia SLI and tell us if it works then. If not then as already mentioned please post a link to the EFI, the rw everything report of original and modded EFI, thanks.
1.73 final - see first post ADD: Additional ASUS EFI dynamic lock removal ADD: Maintain module size (needed for ASUS dynamic to prevent memory setting problems) ADD: Remove dynamic MSI lock ADD: Dynamic now selected as default for ASUS EFI when dummy SLIC exists in BIOS FIX: Failure re-integrating _C0x modules FIX: (hopefully) failure to remove some locks on non-English systems Note these outstanding issues TODO: BenQ lock TODO: SSV2 bricks P8P67 PRO Andy
Thank you andy & Yen. It works great. I found other problem but will report it using different channel to prevent confusion because it is not related to SLIC.
