Can anybody answer my question – what will happen when I will log in activated windows 7 after flashing original bios without slic to generate rw report? And in safe mod? Of course it is rater easy to remove activation and restore 30 day initial period but is it necessary? I did it to flash original bios 1204 for motherboard Asus P8H67M-EVO but I will want to avoid it in future if new bios will be available and worth upgrading. Bios patched ok with 1.74 version and flashed from windows. Slic is here, windows activated, voltage control is working. Thank you andyp!
Windows automatically de-activated after you flashed non-SLIC BIOS. You still can log in, meaning you will not locked out. If after that you flashed with SLIC BIOS, windows will automatically activated again.
Andy, 174 can mod the locks in Chinese-base windows. I checked E16 E17 and found them has changed to 90 90. I didn't check other locks. I presume that it is successful.
Well, I have two rather contradictory answers, kizwan is saying that everything will be ok automatically; aso mentioned you wil have warnings, need to install certificates etc. In that case deactivating before flash seems to be not that hard to do.
MSI P67A-C45 SLIC MSI with Tool 173 I have used 173B9 tool with msi P67A-C45 motherboard and msi slic, and windows is activated and no problems. Great tool andyp. I modified with 1.73B9 Dynamic, using RW-Everything, and MSI SLIC.

Your tool has given me the freedom to mod my own bios for the first time. Although folks on the board have been great in modifying my bios requests in the past, there is nothing like doing it yourself.
