If it's only the script itself being removed (but not the underlying functionality), how about the tools from @abbodi1406 and yourself @Enthousiast simply putting it back to images lacking it? For example, for uup-converter and your Upgrade Fix Kit, it is just a small additional step to sneak it in before final ISO creation.
When it really will be removed i can do the re-adding or the other variants shown here: https://forums.mydigitallife.net/posts/1875059
I had my own method very early when the forced online account came up, do you remember? It worked well for me, maybe it was a bit rough. Technically, it asked the desired user name, then used net.exe to create and configure it, and finally forced a logout. Just select your freshly created account, and you were in. No reboot needed. Still having it on each ISO I create, as backup.
It still is only needed for Home (SL) only, all other SKUs provide to join a domain and next the option to create a local account, MRP does all too for me.
Is the latter also provided when you are completely offline? I will never install any Windows 8+ with Internet connection on, ever.
You mean MRP? These are the config.ini settings i use for offline account on 24H2 non LTSC: Code: # Disable Internet during OOBE + # Force Local account instead of online account This enables to press the "i don't have internet" button and proceed with creating an offline account.
Yes, with MRP it's OK. I wanted to know if the Domain option is offered offline even if the ISO has not been patched (like from a pressed physical media).
So will Pro Retail/OEM still allow a local account? "setup for work or school" > "Sign in options" > "Domain join" > "Offline account" What about somehow running BypassNRO.cmd from an external usb drive? (during setup) Reading the usb drive from the command prompt? (Shift + F10) diskpart list volume E: E:\BypassNRO.cmd Another idea might be slmgr /ipk <GENERIC_ENTERPRISE_KEY> during setup, just for setup purposes, I don't know if later MAS can make it a functional HWID Enterprise.
Yes, nothing changed actually, all SKUs from Pro and up allow domain joining and next the use of a local account: https://forums.mydigitallife.net/posts/1892696 Bypassnro is a simple cmd, inside the OOBE folder, all possible options and the actual content of the cmd are listed here: https://forums.mydigitallife.net/posts/1875059 You can run the command from wherever you want, it adds the regkey and reboots.
Did you read what was posted in the posts above yours? https://forums.mydigitallife.net/posts/1892863 The Info was provided by MSFT no need for any of the pseudo "tech" websites. Where did they get their info from, one day after the fact it was published originally on MDL?
The problem is that the oobe\bypassnro command was removed from the iso. Does anyone have a script to make the function of creating a local account appear in the most recent 26220.xxxx?
The above post links to the latest info and in there you find a link to the solutions, which are already published months ago
Do you need to disassemble the iso and run the scripts or not, why didn't you make a .cmd file to download and run?
If you don't have internet, nothing can be done. In this case, extracting the iso and running the script in install.wim and then mounting the iso again is not necessary.
