Your slic is 2,0 or 2,1?

I guess I do something wrong with BIOS mod, I correct checksum and check in BIOS.WPH file before programming, I program new modded BIOS.WPH file, reboot windows and read back SLIC table with RW_Everything and checksum report by RW_Everything is always FF. Maybe this why activation is not working?

FF is value, Checksum is Sum of all Hex values in Slic, Try winHex as described

No, I mean I set byte 9h correct during is BIOS mod to 0xB9 so checksum == 00, but after programming BIOS and reading back SLIC table with RW-Everything, it shows byte 0xFF at position 9h.

I am now beginning to confuse myself

I just noticed in RSDT (Root System Decription Table)

    Creator ID = "INNA"

But in your modded acer.bin Creator ID = "MSFT"

    Could this be problem?

    try as admin CMD
    slmgr -dlv

Stop hovering to collapse... Click to collapse... Hover to expand... Click to expand...

Works on a slipstreamed Win 7 RTM ISO with hp cert in folder $OEM$ and PID in the sources folder. Although I included the PID with the provided serial in the DVD installer, it still prompted me to enter the key during installation.

When the installation finished, Win 7 Ultimate x64 is activated.

    HP cert (old Vista cert)
Asus Rampage Formula with 2.1 HP cert

To those who tried to check the Genuine Validity with MS, please note that you will get an error for the simple reason that the Windows Validation does not support Win 7 yet since systems with Win 7 is not out yet from OEM's.

Hoping to get the Asus 2.1 SLIC soon :)
