    Team,
Last night I received a prompt regarding an outstanding update. I have updates turned off manually but I'm wondering what update it is talking about.

    Any information is appreciated.

Looks like it's just a nag, the egg timer went off and windows wants you to update.

Whatever method you're using to turn off updates isn't working.

Even i get this annoying nag sometimes. Kindly guide me to get rid of this nag and to completely turn off checking for updates. Thank you.

To completely disable updates until the end of time, even though that's not what it's designed for, my wrapper script will do that.
Other projects include Windows Update Manager and Windows Update Toggle. The last two I really don't know if they'll disable updates forever because I've never tried to do that with them. Maybe @DavidXanatos and @BAU can provide more info about that.
