Hi. I have two problems: Well, in first place, I have a Lenovo Z470, with a Intel HM65 chipset, and I need to access the advanced settings in the BIOS menu in order to increase my dedicated graphics memory. So, I need to mod my BIOS to unlock these options. The second problem is that there is no bios file to download from the manufacturer, so I took a backup from my current BIOS, but I read somewhere a backup is not good for flashing. If you need any more informations, I will provide them as soon as I can. I would be very happy if someone could do it for me, but I am willing to do it by myself, if necessary. Thank you
What BIOS is it? If it is a Phoenix BIOS then you cannot re-flash the backup. You need additional data which are provided by the OEM at a BIOSupdate. At any other BIOS / EFI it should work to re-flash the backup (except some Intel boards, probably)....
