@MoKiChU Please help me... I have Asus Maximus XI Hero (Wi-Fi) and I have a strange problem with any version of drivers ... (ROG UAD SS3) When I install the drivers, they work without problems, but when I install Realtek Audio Console, if I enable the sound effects (for example the equalizer), the classic "click" that you hear when browsing the various folders on the PC (I set "Windows start exploration", located in C: \ Windows \ Media), it is "strange" (probably crackling) ... if I flag "disable all sound effects" in realtek audio console, everything works properly again ... (but obviously I can't use the equalizer that I would need). The strange thing is that only that sound is "distorted" ... I tried with various versions of the drivers, uninstalling them and then cleaning with A-Volute Cleanup tools, and reinstalling the drivers ... I also tried with MSI Mode Utility, flagging all the boxes ... but nothing changes ... Something probably happened in the registry, but I don't know what to do ... Now if I reinstall the drivers taken directly from the Asus site, I can't solve ... Until a couple of months ago instead, I just had to install an older and working version and I had no problems... I don't use Sonic Studio or Sonic Radar ... Could you help me solve the problem? Thank you.
Try to follow scrupulously the CLEAN INSTALL then INSTALL process of Realtek Audio Drivers (UAD - ASUS ROG SS3) from my latest update post.
I use the same Windows 10 build as you and I also use this same driver package and I don't have this problem. However the difference with you is that, unlike you, I use Sonic Studio III (but not Sonic Radar III), and therefore, the equalizer of Realtek Audio Control/Console is hidden and deported on Sonic Studio III (for information, you don't have to enable Sonic Studio III effects to use the Sonic Studio III equalizer).
I install Sonic Studio III and try.... same problem... the very strange thing is that it seems to occur only on that specific sound (windows start navigation.wav) the rest would seem to work all (youtube etc ... all ok) I noticed, however, that if in the background I opened any page of firefox, the audio seems to be ok ...
You can download them from this post https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...h-definition-audio.72236/page-58#post-1579825 You need Realtek Audio Drivers (UAD - ASUS ROG SS3) for your motherboard.
Hi, Indeed it is weird. If you switch your Powers options (via the Windows Control Panel) to High performance, your problem is still current ? - If no, it may be a lag spike problem that occurs when changing the state of your CPU (depending on the power saving settings of the CPU on the BIOS/Windows), since it is used by APOs. - If yes, wait for upgrade to Windows 10 2004/20H1 and let us know if your problem is still current.
I use always High performance.... now I have try to change to balanced, but the "bug" is not fixed... I remember once I managed to solve this problem by installing an old version of the APO in device management (if I am not mistaken for version 1.3.1) ... but now I can no longer ...
Since you are not using Sonic Studio III, try with the latest HDA - FF00 drivers (without Nahimic/Sonic Studio 3 APO) from @stasio. Here is the switch process : Uninstall your UAD drivers and your UWP apps related (via Control Panel > Programs and Features or via Settings > Applications) > restart request > Install the HDA drivers (Setup.exe) > restart request. If your problem is still current, do a clean install of Windows 10 1909/19H2 or wait for upgrade to Windows 10 2004/20H1. I can't reproduce your problem as I explained to you previously, so if you still have the problem after that, sorry, I pass my turn.
No, you will use Realtek HD Audio Manager which is integrated into the drivers. Refer to this post to know the main differences between HDA/Legacy & UAD/DCH drivers.
It's works perfectly!!!!! When I receive update for 20H1, I will try with rog ss3... Thank you so much!!!!!
