I did all of the cleanup procedure and installed the ASUS ROG SS3. Any idea why the Sonic Studio still keeps crashing whenever i open it?
Are you using Windows 10 64 bit 1903/19H1/18362.x or more recent ? If yes, do this : - Uninstall SS3 app then restart your PC - Install SS3 app (but don't launch it when installation is complete) then restart your PC
You are the only one in this case. Re-follow scrupulously the INSTALL process with cleanup step without Sonic Radar 3 (Optional) & without Sonic Studio Virtual Mixer (Optional), you must have made a mistake somewhere or forgot something. Note : In addition, in order to avoid any ambiguity (for example using an SS3 Win32/Legacy app with UAD drivers when it have to work with HDA drivers), refer to this post to know the requirements differences & main differences between UAD/DCH drivers and HDA/Legacy drivers (and between UWP apps et Win32/Legacy apps).
Because HDA - FF00 don't have Creative APO. If you do not want to have to disable audio enhancements, you must use the HDA - FF10 drivers (with Creative APO) as explained above.
You were not the recipient of this edited message, sorry (during your replies, please take my reply in order to avoid misleading me and to make the link between the various subjects).
Yes, thus giving you the possibility of use Creative SoundBlaster X-Fi MB3 Gaming Audio Suite app or not.
What do I need for audio enhancements to work with the HDA - FF00 drivers? Additional software or hardware support?
I already answered you. I retry : HDA - FF00 : Don't have Creative APO (Without possibility to add it. Without Creative APO, you can't use Creative audio enhancements (hardware APO) & you can't use Creative SoundBlaster X-Fi MB3 Gaming Audio Suite app (software/middleware APO)). HDA - FF10 : Have Creative APO (Which giving you the possibility of use or not Creative audio enhancements (hardware APO) with or without Creative SoundBlaster X-Fi MB3 Gaming Audio Suite app (software/middleware APO)).
Maybe I should rephrase. Are audio enhancements a Creative only feature? Why are they present in the HDA - FF00 drivers which don't have Creative APO anyway?
In your case, yes. If the question is "Why display this setting (audio enhancement) when this setting must be disabled with the HDA - FF00 drivers to obtain sound in your case ?" Simply because you are not supposed to use the HDA - FF00 drivers, but HDA - FF10 as I repeat to you since a while ago.
I searched ASIO on this thread and could not determine this. I am using AUDIO_Realtek_HDA_ASUS_ROG-PRIME-TUF_DTS&RTK_v6.0.8924.1 and have been using ASIO4ALL to get 5.1 in Premiere Pro with the legacy Asus drivers since I bought the MB. I see the latest Asus legacy driver includes their own ASIO program now. I do not see any ASIO program files in the extraciton of this driver so do I assume correctly I should install ASIO4ALL after installing this driver? And uninstall it before installing? Thanks again, BJBBJB PS. Again had to delete the link...
Thanks! Malwarebytes and my anti-virus would not let me download from there....Is there an alternative site? It had no issue with the other one. BJBBJB
Greetings to all participants! I found that after trying all possible options, I did not achieve anything with the problem of defining the front panel. This problem persists in different cases, but with the same boards (so the problem is not in the cable or connection pin). Crosshair vi Extreme Board. Please help! Sorry for English, I'm Russian and got to the bottom of the forums here for a couple of sleepless nights. Explain it to a stupid child. Thanks!
