I just had a thought, despite it being the correct bios for this mobo from what I know this has a few revisions (1.0-1.1-2.01) Can anyone confirm that it does not matter?
How to reset the day countdown Hi, Now my gigabyte motherboard is flashed with a modded bios and my Vista Ultimate still activated when it resume from S3 but how to reset/restore the 15 days grace period (Only 5 days was remaining!) just to prevent the next activation failure... Thanks Christophe
Thanks for your reply, One more question, what's the difference between the commands slmgr -rearm and slmgr -rilc? reregister means to execute -ipk and -ilc ?

That sleep issue thing is annoying! Tommiy did great work. BTW nice source. This is real work, he has done. That is one of the thing that makes this forum informative and interesting. He always has to repeat to remove all soft-crack-stuff..... .......people come to here with soft-mod deformed Vista ISO and ask what's about the mod That's not what using a mod should be. Install a original Vista License only........ SORRY, I PERSONALLY DON'T SUPPORT ANY SOFT-MOD!!! Throw it away! This thread originally is about how to mod a Gigabyte bios, see how it works and to resolve the sleep issue CAUSED by the OLD ISA code. The educational and technical aspect should be at foreground. It's not about a 'here you are Vista for free support Thread'. How can I activate? This seems the most important question here..... This is TOO much OFF TOPIC!!! @ofirxp It's nothing personally, but it's my stance over this matter....
GA-P35-DS3L rev 1.0 Hi all I was looking into the same problem for a long time and found this forum. First I'd like to thank everybody here, this forum is great. I gotta say that I do not fully grasp at all everything about bios modding. As I'm a bit on the lazy side, I read as many posts as I could and did the following : 1. Uninstalled any soft mods that were included on my Vista DVD using voatktools 2. Added the ISA file on the original F7 bios for the mobo 3. Flashed the bios and accepted the risks... 4. Checked that I had ASUS in ACPI tables in Everest 5. Using slmgr.vbs, added the ASUS.XRM-MS certificate (from the downloaded certs.zip) 6. Using slmgr.vbs, installed Ultimate Asus key. After S3 sleep, for the first time since SP1, stays activated! Now I just hope it STAYS that way. Using voatktools, it says this machine is permanently activated. Have I done this right? Seems so...... So, is a modded bios from this site the equivalent of what I did?
GA-P35-DS3L same issue Hello everyone, I experience with the same problem. I'm stuck at a point where I don't know how to get ASUS.XRM-MS (certs.zip). Can anyone point me how to complete this flash. Thanks,
