Dell was leaked early, maybe they did a quick key change before RTM, we all know how little time that takes to do.
The first ultimate leaked key from Lenovo (ends with PMJBM) was probably blacklisted. Also someone in this thread implied that the 2nd leaked key (Dell, ends with P4K27) was possibly blacklisted as well. Anyway, there are plenty of newer ultimate OEM SLP keys available, from Acer, Alienware, Asus, HP, Lenovo (re-released after blacklist), Samsung and Sony.
Yes, it could work. But to get rid of WAT I suggest you to restore your backup image of the OS or a CLEAN install!!! No deinstallation, deistallation will remain non genuine!!! It's probably the serial, puuh, no panic!
This key was leak to soon and didnt make it on machines I have the same winfast and it was modd with hp
Wouldn't a non Dell key with a Dell Slic be asking for further trouble? Think it'll be interesting to wait until tomorrow, a clearer picture we will have then. Although I will say, I don't understand the rush to download something that is optional that could corrupt the operating system. Surely it's better to wait to see how things work out, rather than rush to bring trouble upon yourself.
is there an official source yet to get WAT? I wanna try see if my "ASUS" laptop remains activated with DELL slic, and HP Ultimate key.
Yes, best would be to use another slic mod (other vendor)...but should work now anyway.. Somebody reported already that the first Lenovo and the Dell ultimate serial will be blacklisted...
how do i change my key other then in command prompt because it keeps saying access denied in commaned prompt thank you
Seriously thoe, theres one thing I don't quite understand. If this update is optional, why is anyone installing it to begin with? Will it be required for anything? IE; Internet Explorer 9.0 Activation check?
