Hi everyone, I have installed WTA on my Asus EEE PC 900HA. Original bios, so no SLIC 2.0 or 2.1 Using DAZ loader Tried with this configuration : Asus Slic + Asus Cert + Asus Key = Genuine Tried with thie configuration : Fujitsu Slic + Fujitsu Cert + Acer Key = Genuine I passed MGAdiag each time and I am "Genuine" for now. BUT I am not sure if WTA "called home" to check. How do I chek it to be real sure? Thanks
Isn't the dynamic method the safest of all? What chances of detection of dynamic moded BIOS are? Try Macrium Reflect FREE Edition 4.2.2409 or EASEUS Partition Master Professional 5.0.1 (Free giveaway, check their site).
macrium is imo way better than easeus. boyfriend as long as bios mods are okay you will be safe if they start targeting them none will be very safe imo
where did you get the win7 copy. maybe its one of the pre activated ones? see thats another thing that will be a issue here to figure this out is where people got the win7 copy. my dfi bios date is 11/2008 and so far is fine with the dell ultimate key
To get an answer you have to install W7 (untouched) clean install, apply dell cert and dell serial, wait for official WAT release later this day and try again.... Biosdate of nihilist is 2008 (also issued BEFORE W7 was released....)
yes , it isn't OEM key ! But that doesn't matter. Becoz RemoveWAT nukes all activation and validation technologies inside Windows 7. So it doesn't matter
Doing some testing of my own.... I have a Dell Poweredge 2600 (very old) that I had Windows 7 on for testing. Installed WAT 2.0, powered down, powered on and I am still geniune. Using DAZ's latest loader.
