I am aware it no longer receives updates, not sure how that is relevant? Windows Update still works, Windows 8 still works. A little disappointed this program doesn't let me download the updates but no problem, found another solution.
Why are you using 8? Just install 8.1 & keep it maintained & current. You existing 8 keys will work with 8.1...
I downloaded all updates for Windows 7 and _NotAllowedOffline folder note means you can't integrate those updates to wim file, right? If it's right, those _NotAllowedOffline updates date are older than KB3125574, so after install _NotAllowedOffline via Post-Setup before going to Windows, do I have to install KB3125574 and newer updates after KB3125574 again?
This program require a manually maintained list for updates the project was started with Windows 8.1, and nobody (project staff) use Windows 8 to create a list for its updates
'Cause I want to make clean win7 installation by myself so that I can understand those scripts you wrote in WHD-Windows7-Updates-Installer_2.4 pack file. Thanks for quick reply, master abbodi140!
Do I need integrate WMF 3.0 first and then 4.0, 5.0 in this order? I integrated many times with this order then 4.0 and 5.0 meet error, not install 3.0, 4.0 and 5.0 work fine. I read all PowerShell support info and Microsoft does not mention WMF 4.0 needs 3.0, just 5.0 needs 4.0 and netfx 4.5, that so much pain.... Anyone give me advice!
You do not need 3.0, you only need 4.0 and 5.0 and since .NET 4.5 is not integratable (normally), both WMF can't be integrated what kind of error you have?
This is the order I do Integrate the WMF for Windows 7 and it works. KB2506143 WMF3 KB2802886-v2 WMF3 Update KB2823180 WMF3 Update (Client/Server) KB2830615 WMF3 Update (Client/Server) KB2842230 WMF3 Update (Client/Server) KB2887064 WMF3 Update (Client/Server) KB2889748 WMF3 Update (Client/Server) KB2809215 x64 WMF4 (Prerequiste) KB2872035 WMF4 (Prerequiste) KB2872047 WMF4 (Prerequiste) (Client/Server) KB2819745 WMF4 KB3134760 WMF5
Yep, the good guys over at MajorGeeks updated things. And for those here that aren't aware of MajorGeeks.com, it's definitely worth checking them out for the latest in software. I check their site regularly for program updates and new software.
I can't see the December cumulative update and office 2016 X86 updates downloads. Did i miss something?
Little more explanation would be good if mean the Release Date for Office updates, it represent the actual build date of the update, not publish date
Windows 10 Enterprise supported? This must be a very dumb question with an obvious answer as a search didn't turn it up and I can't believe if it were an issue it wouldn't have been asked before. Feel free to kick and abuse as I have the feeling I deserve it. Does WHD support Win 10 Enterprise? Are the CUs for all versions of Win 10 (within a given arch)? I'd think they'd split out Enterprise as it has several subsystems/features that Pro doesn't, and likewise with Pro vs Home. Why would you have people download fixes for features/subsystems their target systems don't have? OK. That's more than one question, but they're related.
