FYI I use a rom built by myself in all my smartphones, with no Gapps and other google crap. But that's not the point The day when you can't use anything w/o having to deal with big techs is closer. That's the point. Come on! stop to look at the finger and try to see the moon. Cloudflare is not a problem, everything else is.
I agree about big tech... and I cannot see anything that will stop it. You probably read Shoshana Zuboff, so no need to ecxplain why... "They" work slow but steadily, the breaking point will be the switch from cash to digital central bank money. Afzter that, control will be total.... Given the conditioned state of the minds of the stuipid masses, there is no longer anything that can stop it.... The only good thing that I can see is how old I already am...
Has anyone figured out how to skip the network selection screen in oobe? ALT+F4 used to let me past this, but even without an internet adapter present, it's still hanging on this screen.
Definitely does NOT work on W11 Pro Education 22261.4 In fact nothing does work, it insists on network connectivity
This was from 2021 and doesn't work anymore. Just SHIFT-F10 and type "oobe\BypassNRO.cmd". The machine will reboot and restart OOBE, and you should be able to set up your offline account.
And you think I did not try it? Nothing means nothing. It will not move beyond the network selection screen, even if WiFi is disabled in BIOS (so there is no physical way to even try to connect)
Indeed. it doesn't tell us what you tried. But Enable local account regardless of connected state, via autounattend.xml work. For me anyway.
But I needed to quickly setup one machine from the box as standalone for a test. Did not work. I would not bother to use xml for this instance Just blown it to Windows 10 & issue got "solved" edit: I suppose this xml does only this: <Path>reg add HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\OOBE /f /v BypassNRO /d 1 /t reg_dword</Path> in which case it did NOT work
This works, tested and documented here: https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...t-on-win-11-home-sl.84109/page-3#post-1737930 ps, @Carlos Detweiller the .cmd part is not present/needed.
@Enthousiast - I'm always typing out extensions. Leftover from dealing with file dropper malware many years ago.
I've always selected business/domain computer. It gets into Windows and does not force you do add to a domain nor a Microsoft account It always allowed me to buy pass logging on with a Microsoft account. I know this is not for Win 11 home but, it should help some people.
