Yup, all is good...checksum before equals checksum after. FYI, i believe andyp bios mod tools automatically fixes this checksum
You can see what it does at the log file of his tools. It either corrects it to the right value (entire table 8 bit sums to zero), or it sets a ZERO byte there. (Suitable for Phoenix bioses to remain compressed size, no matter because it will be re-calculated by the bios itself). Andy's tools also verify the SLICtables and certificates (crypto's algorithm) What's absolutely unsuitable is a wrong checksum byte. (except a zero byte)
mmm, i don't know.... are you sure the SLIC is valid? (Check the online SLIC & Cert test in my signature) EDIT: Just tested on Windows XP Mode, seems to work without problems
