    Thanks Paul.

I'd seen that e-mails first hand some years ago and what happen to one Journalist/Reporter, is happen to many! In reality, I do believe that not so many 'bought' journalist as there many them are pressed just to report what's ordered with limits from their employers!

Also fact is, that there many things were coming on the light of the day by those so called 'Yellow Press' while the established with good names refused to report that!

What I have posted about 'Bild' is of course my personal opinion. Anyway my opinion is based on some points I want to share. And if those points matter to you as well, then you can decide on your own. :)
The way 'Bild' works is the way headline journalism works. Their headlines are made to appear exclusive, stunning, special, shocking. They are excessive, populist and biased.
They are based on quick conclusions and made to SELL (they have also pictures of beautiful women to increase the sale). In Germany there is the stereotype of a Bild-reader. (A 'simple' person who is attracted of headlines, layout, propaganda and phrases, but not of good journalism).

Media are manipulating us that is not the question, the question is which media one trusts. And for PC related stuff I prefer journalism which is verifiable by my own findings, knowledge...

And now more on topic. M$ had a schedule to release a new OS in spring 2015 and as you know OS development never stops. They originally referred to an successor of windows 8.1 that time. But that time there were no plans for a OS that will be called w10.
Later then they had to realize that a release in spring is not possible. In the meantime they published that w10 will be the name of the new OS.
The conclusion now is w10 has been postponed.
I do not know it 'better' I simply stay at the right chronology of events I have read at different sources.
The release of an new OS in spring 2015 (that time called w9) has been published at the media on April 2014, the fact that it will be w10 on September 2014.
It actually doesn't matter if Bild is right or not, fact is that the release of a new OS of M$ has been postponed and as you have said if w10 was first before they had to notice of delay or not only M$ knows. :)

@Yen: For sure I accept your opinion, as same as you accept mine, no question about that!

I reality, I didn't trust any News, not the printed one, not the on TV shown one, nor others. If my time allows, I read a lot different about the same fact's and try to find an conclusion.

OK, fact is, BILD seems to be the biggest (or most sold) Newsletter from Germany and the Blick from Switzerland has the same position, and come therefore to the same position as MS for Software Development! That they use in first lines their headlines for to get sold, is simply true and I wouldn't deny that! Maybe they didn't produce the best or good journalism, but: they bringing many things on the 'table' others didn't do! On the opposite, the so called reputated publishers are really better? Did they really produce what you call good journalism? I tend to deny that!
Fact is, and here you named it already, Media's are trying to manipulating us in many means and there is not one publisher who didn't try that! And it would be wrong to trust any of them! That also applies for PC related journalism!

As I wrote in some post some day's ago, I hardly believe that MS will force the most possible early release of an unfinished system because of the already loss in the last 2 years on the PC Market. No, I believe that they will this time to brings something to the customers which is worth the money they'll ask for. As I told, Plan's are subject to change and that way MS was gone already the last few month ago. Chronology is fine, just also chronology is something which isn't something which need to be followed! That they first told that the earliest release would be in the first half year of 2015 seems have to be changed to Fall 2015 and maybe could also be later than that, time will teach the truth!

Personally, I wouldn't mind if the release is postponed to an point where it shows that the OS is stable and should/could be used by ALL users who like to use it with as little problems as possible. That there isn't any OS/APPS/Software which is 100% and perfectly ok, is a simple fact! But: it's not MS only who would predict the time of release, there also those companies who producing the hardware, what MS isn't doing, and the required drivers etc. for to get those hardware working Ok with the new OS. Not to forget the developers of the bunch of normal applications, games etc. who need to 'adjust' their product for to work with the new OS. There many factors, outside of the power of MS, which will come involved with the time of release of the OS from MS!
Anyway, next step would be that MS will release the first BETA Version of the new OS which isn't done yet! Than the Pre-Release will come before the RTM and all of that will need it's time! The first public Release of an Final in the Fall or even later I believe would simply be a fact.

The later they release it the more improbable it will be that everybody involved can have the products right in time for Christmas sale 2015. It is comprehensible that M$ doesn't want further delays...and also it's hard for them to confess.:)
But I think also a release of w10 RTM on October/November can be possible.

Btw: One has to think about if one consumes media to satisfy own dissatisfaction (consuming mainly negative news) or to satisfy the interest of news 'as they are' 'objectively' (if possible at all).

And you would think that reading that it is for Windows 7 or Windows 8.1 (2 different executables) only that it is clear enough....

Why we should upgrade win7 or win8 to windows10? What are the extra features added to win10 than win7 or win8?
