If they don't want to hear the public feedback of these pre-release builds, then why do they release them in the first place? I think there's still plenty of improvement to be made in making the Metro UI more accessible using a mouse and a keyboard. Things like task switching, Metro IE10 tabbed browsing are very difficult to do with a mouse.
It might be missing on a VHD Install, i also can't access Hybrid Boot on my VHD, probably the reason the boot time is only "slightly" faster than W7 for me
Lol. Concerning WDP you're right. Questionable is if they'll ever reach the final state. (OPERATING) System.
Considering the time frame between beta and RTM we can expect RTM to come around July next year. Took about 7~9 months for XP and 7, if I recall.
There is speculations that if MS was to release a public beta by end-Sept/Oct., then there might be 2 beta's, so it's even more difficult to speculate about RC, let alone RTM. I guess we just have to wait if canouna could tell us more about the updated roadmap, or if MS is going to make any announcement.
I hope that manufacters like Samsung, Dell or Lenovo offer buisness tablets or slates with the best SKU of Win8 as well.
Yep well, nobody expects MS to be THAT late (missing Christmas period), if they were, holy crap @ missed revenue ^_^ RTM Stage really should be done in Q3 2012 as it takes time to flash millions of OEM PC's with it, so RTM for everyone in Q4 2012, W8 would do good start selling in October (well the sooner the better) as the more Reviews you have for the OS and products the more Copies and Devices they will be able to sell @ Christmas, after all a Product you can't touch and have no reviews for is more likely to completely fail. The basics of marketing, a unknown product can't sell well.
