excuse me if the question is already posed but is the LTSB release also sends full of informations to Microsoft servers?
I don't see a similar setting in W7 Pro, which my friend also activated with a KMS option. Can someone shed some intel on this?
NoGenTicket is the local "machine" policy setting, so you need only one entry: Code: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Software Protection Platform On Windows x64 the entry below will be mirrored from the registry entry above: Code: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Policies\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Software Protection Platform All other entries are just temporary junk from the Group Policy Editor. The final REG file for both Windows x64 and x86: Code: Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Software Protection Platform] "NoGenTicket"=dword:00000001
I am in Win 10 Enterprise LTSB N (-x86 version), having been activated with MTK. I have problem with installing PDF Printer (virtual). No 3rd Party (vig. Foxit or Nitro Pro 10) Software was unable to install PDF Printer for which any webpage conversion to .PDF and printing of the webpage fails. Anyone facing this ? Looking for Any help in this regard. Sorry for the question but how can I select the updates for installing it? How can I disable the automatic updates? Thanks in advance
either with gpedit.msc or better and easier way: use "OO ShutUp"... best privacy tool for windows 10 right now.
Appears to be a real good click and go. I would recommend s1ave77z it is much more informative and of course from a good source. Regards
Ltsb N sucks a bit reasons No media player and media features so I thought will download feature from Microsoft after I installed it went to check with Install_wim_tweak how many packages extra are there I got over 3000 packages as that media player and media KB installed every European language extension to each component.
I'm sure those who prefer LTSB N over LTSB or other Windows versions don't fall back to Windows Media Player, they just replace it with MPC, VLC or similar players. I have Windows 10 Pro since July 30th and never used WMP once...
It's not only Media player but whole media package that will for example affect gaming. For most it's better to use either ltsb or home or pro plus MSMG and wim toolkit to clean windows even better. My win home has 1605 packages with fx3.5 and media player. How many packages have you got? Bet more
