I'm a ResetBase fan, i can reinstall OS any time either that, or no need for cleanup (extra 2 or 3 GB won't hurt) but it's your call, you decide your needs
i thought that you were taking the risk of having trouble with resetpc option later by choosing the resetbase option to YES, it's not the case anymore ?
Try it on tablets I just run W10UI with only cleanup image, i run it on 22 indices (en-US) and 20 indices (nl-NL) over night and all is done when i finally wake up, and all windows functions are intact.
That's what I mean Maybe I misunderstand something due to english not being my native language, whatever
What mehdi said was not wat abbodi meant, resetpc is still broken on at least x64 installs when the full resetbase is performed, msft disabled the resetbase option for a reason (on install.wim and winpe), abbodi has implemented a workaround to still get it done.
What's the point of performing a full resetbase when you already know that resetpc will be broken after that ? Resetpc is usefull option as it allows you to reinstall win10 by keeping your files intact in case you have stability system issue or another problem related to you win system later so this is usefull option not to be neglected.
At least in windows 10, it is much easier to download and install only one update (unlike in 7 or 8 where one could get 10-30 updates per month). I am at a loss however in office with regards to superseded updates. My monthly solution is to extract x-none from files, overwrite earlier month ones, then uninstall office, reinstall office (with integrated updates in updates folder) and do cleanup. Any other solution which is easier and superior.
It's a while now since msft disabled the resetbase option which broke the resetpc feature, it'll be about one year now?
