At this point in time, there is NO indication of anything. Microsoft is being tight lipped about anything they are working on concerning the October 2018 Update.
I suggest that Microsoft for all the hassles, award a free of charge License all those who risked to install 1809 version .
I installed version 17763.1 for testing and I have problems. why can not I install any updates on version 17763.1? always says it's already installed, but not really! do not understand...

Run the W10UI 5.3 script, leave the target wim as default, don't edit it, it will update your OS and put the updates beside the W10UI script in the same folder, right click, Run As Admin, it'll update your PC. 2016 LTSB has 2 latest dynamic updates 1- KB4013419 is for boot wim image index:2 and for winre image index:1 2 -KB4039556 you have to unrar it and copy and replace all files in it to sources folder at the root of iso P.S. tavrez is wrong btw..KB4466596 is for version 1809 only
DU's are not really needed, they are meant for upgrading scenario's, just select download updates when upgrading and all will be downloaded and used.
