Does Net Framework get updated to latest (4.8) automatically, via automatic updates, or do I need to download, install separately?
AV programs do a lot of system shenanigans. It would never be in MS's best interests to halt updates, especially containing security fixes, so that AV programs can "catch up"
Yes, winging it and letting systems crash in a way that makes MS look responsible is definitely a great business decision. If you are a MS fan you should show this buy supporting decisions that would make them better, not defending decisions that are rapidly creating a world were more and more publications are recommending against letting MS update your system.
MSFT didn't release 1903 to the public (the current mvs iso's were meant for developers), so there should be enough time for both parties, msft and the av's, to fix this before GA arrives.
They already do far more than any other OS does in terms of working with other devs to make sure things are ironed out before it hits the public. Anyway, sorry for the off topic. I'm a mild MS fanboy and I take issue when people unfairly characterize them.
I was talking about the updates freezing multiple version of windows. I work in software and we do replicate many consumer builds in virtualization for impact testing. MS has exponentially more resources than we do, you are being insanely lenient on them if you think these freezes are unsolvable mystery that no software company can solve.
I think the earliest right time to install it on versions lower than 1903 is only when a future .NET Cumulative Update will explicitly include 4.8 updates for those OSes.
I'd say after as their is no CU for .net 4.8 on v1809 yet, maybe next month's patch Tuesday. Though it's possible that MS may release a CU for the RP Ring before public release.
Probably because you have a MSDM for Pro inside the bios. Put an ei.cfg* in the sources folder of the iso and you will be able to select the desired sku. ei.cfg: Code: [Channel] _Default [VL] 0 But now you are on pro, you can easily switch to enterprise by entering the enterprise gvlk. Code: slmgr -ipk <gvlk>
Hi, I've problems slipstreaming latest 18362.53 CU into 18362.30 MSDN/MVS ISO using W10UI. It reports error : Package_for_RollupFix Error: 0x80070002 during the slipstreaming process. Can anyone help me please ?
