be honest the most tool i use and worth is DISM ...others for me is craps ...soon we see getwaiktools with that build ..
It seems the newer W10 WADK RTM is also not compatible for Windows 7 HOST OS like the older RC version.
Hi, Quick question, i have customized my ISO with Windows ICD, and everything is awesome - except one thing - FirstLogonCommands. I can run them, but i would like it to run a batchfile that is located on the install-disc, how can i do this? Earlier in Windows 7, i added a file to this folder on the install disk - "sources\$OEM$\$$\Setup\Scripts" - for example "sources\$OEM$\$$\Setup\Scripts\script.cmd" - and that would be found in "%WINDIR%\Setup\Scripts\script.cmd" after installation of windows, and my FirstLogonCommand would simply run "%WINDIR%\Setup\Scripts\script.cmd" to kick it off..... Also, earlier i had an Unattend.xml in the root of the install image, to specify the first run command, thats gone now too (due to the way Windows ICD works i guess) But with Win10 (no idea about Win8/8.1) the file in the "$OEM$" directory is not copied to the Windows folder Any advice please? Kind Regards TwinA
Did any of you tried to use the dism command to mount win 10 install.wim and do operations like: add updates, remove apps etc? i noticed that the windows shell taht executes the dism command is very slow compared to the win 8.1, sometimes is kind of stuck and i need to press enter to "wake it up" anyone with the same problem?
Sorry if this has been asked but where is the info on the compact OS Microsoft has been talking about. I want to be able to do a clean install with this. Will it just be the OS that is compact or every file that gets added?
