At least I don't have to worry about such stuff as PowerShell(5), Hyper-V Manager, Task Scheduler, etc. Because now they don't work (Also extra message pops up about mscoree.dll at the login screen.)
Something you've done has broken your Windows 11, PowerShell, everything working fine after installing the latest updates.
At home, 2 systems produced the exact same symptoms (these may be my fault). Then I've read in another forum at least two other reports of exactly the same errors. Since then, I've installed the .NET 3.5 feature, which was never installed before on these systems. After restart, WU kicked in to update it as well. The missing mscoree.dll, mmc snap-in problems have gone away. Then I've removed the .NET 3.5 feature, since I really don't need it. So far, everything is working, ngen.exe ran, powershell.exe working, mmc snap-ins no problem. Finally I did test the .675 integrated into a powershell-enabled WinPE (which was crashing with .652) and that works too.
My Win11 is broken as well. At every restart i'm getting mscoree.dll not found and something about powershell. Edit: Fixed by installing .NET 3.5 in Windows Features.
Sorry, not sure why everything is working fine on my PC. Let me check if any of the scripts I run install NET 3.5. No, not installed.
