at least it has been made bootable which it wasnt original... what else happend to it..well nobody knows...
but i think, someone must have the untouched... cause, no untouched --> no touched ! when, we can get the untouched ??
I use WDS at home, so it really doesn't matter if it is touched. As long as the .WIM files are untouched i'm fine.
This is really funny here. All those leaks are touched in some way. The installation files were leaked, not the ISO. You cannot be sure that somebody has added something. If you really want a 'official' ISO you have to wait for the MSDN release. Some of us can't wait to get the RTM and some of us want it untouched. It's up to you. A real reference hash SHA1 or MD5 is not yet published. All is referring to some 'self' made ISO's so far. Don't touch my ISO!
Sure i will do a MD5/CRC check on the boot.wim and the install.wim, but if they are simular i'll continue with the files installed. If there is a difference ill reinstall again with the untouched ISO.
its tough to weed through scene releases...especially for things like this. it's likely they'll attempt to release 5-10 ISOs before the good one is put out, although it's likely the scene will get a hold of the actual RTM final ISO before microsoft releases it via MSDN. sort of a catch22.. but it's really up to how bleeding edge you are. personally i wiped a full install of 16384 for 16385 just to do it, because i've got a spare x64 laptop/tablet pc to do it with. if i didn't, i would likely just hold off. i've been doing this whole RTM business since NT4's beta stages (not to mention 95, 98, ME, 2000, XP, Vista... all before this..) and it's just plain addicting.
i don't mind being touched. so i don't mind the touched copy. anyway touched by microsoft is still = touched and touched by leakers = touched there is no such thing as untouched.
