burfadel, is J# no longer part of your Visual runtime installer? I saw new F# but could not detect J# anymore. Thanks...
I never included J# in my installer as I saw no benefit in doing so . Applications using it are even rarer than those that use F#, and J# is a deprecated language. Applications that do use it most likely come with the latest runtime available. I included F# as that runtime has been updated and is still a current, in development platform.
About KB2965904, I can not find these files in Windows (dirquota.exe, etc ...) Where are they? Thanks
Thanks Spoiler Code: Added: 2930287 2960124-v3 / RSAT 2965705 Superseded: 2860842-v2 (by 2930287) 2957503 (by 2965705)
Spelling KB2849696 and Hyphenation KB2849697 packages are dual architecture, and are the same the inner cab files are named x86, but it's the same for both architectures that's why i named the files that way to diffrentiate them, so the end user don't get confused in duplicate names/files
@abbodi1406 Hello! Thanks again for keeping everything up-to-date I've compared your latest WHD updates with your changelog and my hdd prior updates... some questions: 1. I see you mention 2952664-v2 as superseded (old) but it's still in WHD downloaded updates from the latest lists. So it's really superseded or not? 2. KB2849470 is no longer in your lists, but I don't see a mention of it in the changelogs. Is it superseded? By what update? 3. I still don't like the ''presence'' of KB2524840, KB2519946 and KB2525835 (x64 only) in the ''main'' folder. They're virtual pc related, a (very) advanced feature, but it's your decision, as I can't remember why I don't like them, probably because they generated problems at some point, but I can't say for sure 4. KB2809215 (x64 only) - why in the ''main folder''. Isn't it WMF 3.0 related? 5. Again about KB2685811 and KB2685813, maybe an info text somewhere at least that it's better to not integrate them... 6. KB2956014 for x64 is superseded? Thanks
A quick heads-up: abbodi1406 is very busy right now, so it's going to take longer than usual for him to post. Just be patient.
1. You noticed the old one and didn't notice the new one in the changelog? it has been updated by MS, but it stills have same major number 2952664-v2 2. I don't recall it had been added, but anyway, it's currently superseded by 2950358 3. 2519946 is a virtual-pc related (RemoteFX) which is present in Ultimate/Enterprise only 2524840 is applicable for all editions 2525835 is a security update 4. No, it's required for WMF 4.0, but still a regular update 5. Such info had been added to there description popup 6. Yes by 2871997-v2 (although, 2956014-x64 never been added to the list)
I integrated all updates in win7 x64 with alphawaves downloader and wintoolkit. Some older updates are still showing in wu. I know they are suppressed with some newer updates, but WU still complain. Can I still integrate those updates??
AFAIK Windows 7 has this issue, said by abbodi1406. Windows 8.1, Office 2013/2010 are good, no WU complaints. Lets see whether he can see this post of yours and shed more light on the topic.
