I made sure i chose my wording correctly when i made my comment. If people do not understand English and the subtleties, then who's at fault? Let me rephrase: If you want to believe without questioning, go for it. Don't come in here and try to give everyone a guilt trip if we discuss the inaccuracies. Also, there's no need to name drop. Just state your case and what you think.
FukenGruven you used an inappropriate reference, you should have known this before posting. Now back on topic.
If I had a spare PCIe GPU lying around, I definitely would be. My servers have old PCI VGA cards though.
I eventually found out why in my case. I use a program called "TokenRestore" to backup and restore my license and activation settings. After I had restored the token.dat from build 7600, the watermark appeared, even though I was activated. I ended up putting back the original SP1 token.dat and reactivating online. Now, in the future, when I back up and restore the token, it'll be the correct 7601 token and no watermark.
Mine is win Utimatex64 with slic 2.1.I downloaded and installed the original ms sp1 RTM pack as posted by the OP in the first post. The checksums tally fine. This was a week ago.All was well till I installed some win 7 Reg tweaks posted in a thread in this forum.I don't know what went wrong since the tweaks are absolutely harmless n routine.I have removed the bacup files already. Is there a way to uninstall sp1 now.
FukenGruven, it seems that you don't get that your opinion about doesn't matter at all. You have posted in a inappropriate way and that has been noticed by a moderator. Either you accept what was told to you or you may leave MDL. tcntad is right and name-calling doesn't change that truth. It is probably common where you live but here at MDL I don't tolerate such behaviour. Yen.
FukenGruven: I would like to personally thank you for your latest edition of public, moronic, mental masturbation. If this doesn't earn you a ban from the forum, nothing else will. If that's the case, I'll find another forum to talk about the intent of this thread.
FukenGruven: Bro you didn't have to slander me in public. I know by feeding into your little rant wasn't mature on my part. I was letting people know my thoughts about others not believing sp1 was rtm. So if you don't like what people say then look over what people post. Also, just show a little respect and you might get some in return. Back on topic..... I don't have a watermark and haven't since sp1 RC!
What can i say; one's word is as good as the other's. Nobody can be sure whether the leaked sp1 bytes is really rtm or not, except msft, and darn it, it is not talking. For the adventurous, the leaked bytes is a blessing, and a curse for the non-believers. As for me, i took the dive, installed the leaked sp1, and slept soundly thereafter, oblivious of the raging debate. LOL.
Yeah I toally agree with you Belarathon and it's not funny to be FukenBanned On-Topic: I belive the exe is the Final SP1 release we'll see in a few weeks from Microsoft (that's what I'm using anyway) but judging by the leaked slipstreamed Isos, those I'm not sure will be the same, I think they will make those more properly cleaned. But as already stated thousand times before, no one is forced to use these leaks.
Installed W7 with SP1 "integrated" (WZOR ISO) as I had problems installing the x86 version from the exe (my Installation was bogus i guess).
been running the integrated image since they come out, no watermark for me either. no cracks either as i am technet member so do not need them
Could moderator or initial poster change the title of this totally no-interest thread rename it something like "Win 7 SP1 Rtm, Fake or reality ?". It would avoid interested persons to loose their time. Thanks in advance.
