I'll get to the point quickly: I installed a pre-activated Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 with all updates up to May on my new rig back in June, onto an SSD, using an UEFI setup. All was well, it was genuine. Afterwards, a week or so later, I installed a genuine Office 2013 package (free from University) that seems to have broken the activation and now my 30 days are up and I haven't found a solution. Things to know: Daz's loader doesn't work, because UEFI. KB971033 is installed, but was already installed with the OS itself. It can be uninstalled from the "Installed Updates" list. MS Toolkit doesn't work on Ultimate. I haven't tried RemoveWAT or any other options as of yet because I'd rather not mess something up. I don't really know what I'm doing. I would definitely not like to reformat. I'm fairly sure the Win7 distro used Daz's Loader v2.2.2 to begin with, and it worked despite the UEFI, but something seems to have gone wrong since. Any ideas? Thank you for your help in advance, I hope there's an easy way to solve this that I simply overlooked. I am posting this thread because the alternative options are quite confusing, particularly w.r.t. UEFI, so I thought I'd get an expert opinion before screwing something up beyond reasonable repair. By the way, if it matters, the mobo is an AsRock Z87 Extreme 4.
My C: drive (the SSD) is definitely GPT-formatted, with a 100 MB EFI System partition preceding it and some overprovisioned space after it. Nonetheless, Daz's Loader is what says there is an unsupported partition table, and the .nfo with the Win 7 release I got says it uses the same loader and KMSpico for the Enterprise editions. Even if the .nfo didn't say it, what else could have activated it? Now, as for WindSLIC, it did appear in my searches but I have no idea what to do with the information in that thread. Is the first post up-to-date? The 4th link there speaks about compiling and whatnot, unfortunately I'm not familiar with cracking on that level. I don't even know what "untar" means...

Yeah, as assumed no activation happened at all so far. System shows Retail Channel (would be OEM:SLP with the Loader) and 'Grace Time expired'. You can opt for a BIOS-Mod .
How is that possible? The system reported itself as activated and genuine and ran flawlessly for a week before I installed a genuine Office 2013. Isn't it possible that the Office install (being genuine) un-activated the system? What does a BIOS-mod mean in the context of an UEFI system? Oh, and wouldn't RemoveWAT work? Or that WindSLIC? I'd rather not mess with the BIOS unless absolutely necessary.
In that case, is there some step-by-step guide on how to use this WindSLIC? As far as I could tell, with the out-of-date initial post and instructions to compile...something... it's far outside my abilities to figure out unaided. Is there perhaps an IRC channel or something where someone could walk me through it?

Don't mean to be repetitive on an issue apparently already resolved but yes, the WindSLIC method works like a charm (so far) on a GTP partition (UEFI boot). DAZ or KMSPico doesn't work, IR5 & IR7 neither. The only solution I've found that actually activates Windows is the WindSLIC; in my case working on Gigabyte mobo. Thanks and good Windowing!
KMSpico should work fine if you use a volume sku that supports KMS activation such as Professional or Enterprise
I appreciate the time and energy people bring to help the members here. Anyway as soon as it is clear that somebody tries to install / activate a modified OS (ISO), the right advice would be to promt the one to make a clean install of a verified ISO. Until then any further advice should be denied. I NEVER would run an OS which has been modified from somebody I don't know.
It looks like what happened is the pre-activator was Daz loader, which failed to pre-activate because of the gpt disk. The OP, passing genuine tests, thought he was at first activated, but he wasn't, and the trial eventually expired. At this point, the OP was left with a fairly clean install that just needed a proper activation. Even though he should have started with a clean iso, we should at least complement the OP for having the good sense to avoid RemoveWat after he found that Daz loder had failed him.
