The app may be free but there is still DRM implicitly added by Microsoft by the very fact that you must be online to download it (and activate against the certificate) from the Windows Store. This means you can forget about putting it on a CD to share with your friends. This DRM effectively makes every single app on the Windows Store an unspecified time limited demo. The time in this case is specified by the date that Microsoft pulls the plug on the Windows Store and shuts it down I for one am using this crack at work to install *our own* software (that we have written) on our test device because the 30-90 day "Developer License" DRM is an absolute joke.
Trying to get FREE Apps I STILL get that error window: "WSLicenseinstallLicense hr=8009210D" and then: Crecked Fail ! Been fighting with this beast for weeks now. P... of Sh... would ever work for me.... (SORRY) HELP Please Win_8.1_Update1_Pro_Wmc_x64
I believe you were trying to crack a paid APPS, in win8 people could crack paid apps by working on the free paid version, MS fixed this loophole in win8.1.
Thanks for the reply FaiKee, but as I said @ the first sentence of my post, I have been trying to crack FREE Apps licenses. Tried many times with no success. Same error. BTW have been following "cracking paid store apps history" since Windows 8 times until now. Aware it doesn't work in 8.1...
Well, then AFAIK, some apps just couldn't be sideloaded, same case in win8, when we tried to sideload the "new apps" in win8.1 preview to win8. Sideloading is by MS definition, a process for people to test their own developed apps before submitting to Store.
Can it be used to get cracked apps for free? DO the apps need to be trial and buy? Can someone explain the usecase of this program?
This program is for manual installation (side loading) of windows apps be it free or trial but not for cracking the apps. this is useful for people who use a local user account and want to use windows apps.
So people could install apps even if they are using local accounts, because in win8.1 you could only download/install apps thru Store with a MS account on-line.
for now on windows 8.1 can not convert a trial license in full version, so this program does not work now
