Hy, guys. I have a question for you but first of all I want to thank you for what you are doing here. I found this thread few months ago and the stuff here helped me a lot to make my own slipstream. I use WHDownloader to download updates every month. and that's what I was doing today when I found something strange. After I have downloaded the new updates I found out that the x64 version has with 5 updates more that the x86 version. So I have deleted everything, including the updates and started again the program (I use v0.10 latest). The thing is for x64 version is beeing offered 25 General updates and 18 Hotfixes and for x86 version 24 General updates and 14 Hotfixes.Everything else is the same.Is that normal? Before now there were always the same number for each version.
It happens sometimes. It's normal. There are a few different updates for each architecture depending on the needs of the particular OS.
Not Applicable to this Image Errors KB2977219 and KB2979040 seem to slipstream just fine ("100%"), but, DISM kicks out the "Not Applicable to this Image" error at the end of the operation-both offline and online. I tried searching for the KB's to see what they are about and no results at all-they don't exist so to speak. I looked at the xml files in each and KB2979040 appears to list Terminal Server and rpd quite a bit while KB2977219 shows winloader entries. I attached the DISM log (dism.rar)-short version-written around the time I attempted to slipstream these two KB's and a screen capture of the DISM command error (DISM Error.jpg). Would some kind soul shed some light on this for me if possible? many thanks
KB2991509 After applying the MS14-037 Cumulative Security Update for Internet Explorer, web applications that implement the use of consecutive modal dialogs can become very slow to update and respond may become unresponsive over time. After you install this item, you may have to restart your computer. Also a fix for Win7 as well
This is a major Cluster F**k to say the least. I just finished updating, chkdsk'ing, defraging and imaging my HDD to a backup drive. Of course I deleted the July backup image.
