One more OT reply. I hope the people believe me that I don't want to convince. I have the function of an admin, but that has nothing to do with 'truth'. People who don't know me very well can get the impression that I try to enforce what I say and I know I sometimes have a very 'individual' opinion. I am no teacher here, well I've written some useful instructions...but........I just want to give people the opportunity to have a different view on a matter........if it is not right to somebody.... at least I hope to entertain.
Oh my god, stop oppressing us Yen! Heh, seriously though... I don't think anyone has any doubt that you just relay opinions from time to time. If you were on some US redneck bible website, you might have problems, but people here have a brain.
lol ... old news ... I'm grabbing a super-secret unknown release date version of Windows 30. I hear you won't need a computer monitor for it, you pop it into your brain and project it with your eyes onto a wall.
Win8.1 Build 9477 (RTM Escrow) is ready win8china.com/html/6055.html Windows 8.1 build 9477 gets sent out to partners, RTM within days winbeta.org/news/windows-81-build-9477-gets-sent-out-partners-rtm-within-days
I don't get it? .... I left my brain at home. We r all entitled to an opinion and healthy debate is appreciated. Little obsessive and if you want open source (foobar) then u need this oppression OS. That's it, but just for multi-media and hard core IBM will exit. Regards
That's because 9477 isn't RTM, it's a final stage release candidate. The number gives this away! The reason why it appears to be RTM is because functionality, licencing, and everything else is as it will be in the final version. If it goes through flawlessly basically the only difference between this and the final will be a change in build number. That said, there will likely to be a few very minor changes, changes that won't need massive amounts of testing before release.
Read the post "RTM is to be expected within the next few weeks." Meaning it's only been 1 week since post was posted. A few weeks is usually 2 or 3 weeks give or take. Put it this way. You may enjoy the coming week.
That would be the dumbest thing they could do, and in that sense, completely fitting in their series of blunders!
I could imagine that they ran their telemetry on that feature and if it was not accepted enough in the statistics, it simply will be deleted and does not show up in RTM ???
