How about aero aurora? I thought it's to be included in blue-pill 1.4, seems it is not to be. Naturally the Spanish tweak for 8050 does not work on 7955.
What about a new file system at beta? Wouldn't they introduce a new one at Vista already? NTFS is old and its performance sux....
I thought winFS was just an extension on NTFS. So I don't know if there would have been any performance increase in it. A complete new thing would indeed be nice though.
Yes, I agree with it. exFat has been introduced at Vista SP1 already..but who uses it? Is it really better performing? Isn't it based on the much more older FAT? A complete new system is needed IMHO. We have SSD's now and I am sure it can be optimized using faster storage devices..NTFS is really old. Also a better organization of clusters would increase the performance of HDDs....oh well it took a long time the old BIOS is replaced...with EFI. It's time to make an effort at the file system as well...I know on android Samsung is using their own RFS system which is far slower than ext4 of Linux and many are using mods therefore...I'm no expert on this though..
We now need a file system, having all the features of ZFS, WinFS and can manage SSDs very well ~ isn't it???
