I doubt it, especially since the WDP just came out. Not that I know for sure, but it just seems unlikely.
I assume that you have both in 64 bit versions. In 8102, try to run installprep.exe from sources folder.
Is "Windows 8" Developer Preview build 8102 very much like Windows 7 PDC build 6801? I mean, in matters such as locked UI, locked features, bugs etc... On its way to Beta, how much do you think will "Windows 8" mature in terms of factors such as UI, features, speed etc? By the way, here's something funny... Windows 7: PDC build(6801 ~6800) + 200 builds = Beta build(7000) Beta build(7000) + 100 builds = RC build(7100) RC build(7100) + 500 builds = RTM build(7600) So, for "Windows 8": DP build(8102 ~8100) + 200 builds = Beta build(8300) Beta build(8300) + 100 builds = RC build(8400) RC build(8400) + 400 builds = RTM build(8800) !! ... [In a thread somewhere, I read that RTM build number must be a number divisible by 4, 16 and 100... So, 8900 is not possible... Therefore 8800 is the best bet] NOTE: Build numbers 6801 and 8102 are rounded-off in calculation to 6800 and 8100 respectively. USE COMMON-SENSE GUYS!
Nice finding ;-) Are you sure? DP build(8102) + 200 builds = Beta build(8300) If you want, i'll going to check this with my desctop calculator ...
