I am kind of noob in a lot of issues, and this is not the exception, what does the SLP part stands for? Is there any difference among OEM activation and oem:slp keys?
So I downloaded the latest tools and see newer slic tables. Can 8 Be actived like win7 doing a Slic bios mod? If so can someone point me into the direction of what iso/Slic files? I haven't been on the fourm in a while but if it involves grabbing some oem info ect... from pcs I could help or, blow up some boards like I did helping with W7 bios mods ... Those were the days ...
O.A.3 uses OEM: DM keys, which are unique for each system. As they cannot be shared without getting blacklisted the SLIC method is obsolete now.
Isn't it already leaked - "OEM Activation 3.0 – Overview and Usage Guide"? Can't figure out a link to it though...
Hello MDL people; I am a new member here, so if my question is wrong, please correct me. I am implementing OA3.0 and because i am new on this job, can anyone assist me publicaly or PMs if possible to let me know how to populate OA3.cfg and othe files. Thank you in advance.
if you informed yourself since introduction of W8, you might have noticed that there is is no more way to circumvent 8 activation like was in 7 times. New Bioses hold stored data compared with MS server counterpart for activate your system. Only KMS method currently works or at least you bite the dust and buy your key. End of story
Can KMS method be use to change/ update/ upgrade a Preinstalled OEM Win 8.1 Core to ... Pro/ Enterprise (OEM or Non OEM.. Dont care) ... especially without having to REINSTALL Windows?
Hmm... well I'm not sure if you can use the gVLK or default key to actually upgrade, but if you use just a bogus key of the same edition that you want to upgrade to, you could probably do it without re-installing Windows. Try finding some random Win8.x Pro key and insert it in the "Add programs or features to Windows 8" option in Windows Update (wuapp.exe) If it works, you can change the key back to the gVLK afterwards or just use the ez-activation option in Microsoft Toolkit.
Nothing available yet. It actually can't be 3.3, it either has to be 3.1 or 4.0 or when using SLIC 2.4. I heard about a completely 'new' OEM licensing though. It is rumored that licensing will be made via personal online user account / windows store. Means as soon as you login you can activate the license using the data that come with the machine at the store and it turns into an OEM license. It is also rumored that other kinds of licenses and their activation will be managed through windows store as well...they want to tie the license to a consumer / machine / a personal user (account). I'll post more when I've got more news...the above is pure rumor, though.
