Hey there, I don't agree. Though MS Office is NOT free, it is still the basics of everyday computing. Google Docs can't beat MS office.
I crack my boiled eggs correctly at the small end. But I know dull and backward people who crack theirs incorrectly at the large end. I'll never understand why people just don't do it correctly like I do and be done with it.
I guess you are wrong, it will take longer... And MDL never offers a warez version of any windows. We only provide downloads to original ISOs from M$. We never did it else before. Tools are found at other places.
Goes with what I said in a later post: I'll just use Windows 7 and not have to put up with metro, tweaking settings whenever I format and playing around with the start screen which I have no time for as I have far too many programs and files and metro just makes it look cluttered. Windows 8 doesn't seem any faster on my hardware, and the bootup times I don't care about. For example, if Windows 7 boots me up in 15 seconds and Windows 8 does it in 10 then I don't care about them extra 5 seconds. All I'm interested in is which OS is the most fluid, consistent and works well for my needs.
First, thanks, Daz, for all the hard work you have done with Windows 7 activation. I would PayPal you some money if I knew your email, but you keep it hidden for good reason, I suspect. Your work is invaluable and you are a real credit. You're right, of course, re: Windows 8. Windows 7 works fine and any updates made in 8 seem marginal to me, despite what Sinofsky would have us believe. The concept of "good enough" applies here for the most part. Device driver updates in 8 are nice, but not essential. Metro is certainly unnecessary desktop window-dressing.
