    Some virus scanners report Trojan TR/Crypt.XPACK.Gen in wpkey.dll, you should inform about false positive at your first post.
    Also please add a hash to ensure integrity, so users can check it.

    This is probably because the .text section in wpkey.dll got the writeable flag set. "0Eh"
    So low end AV assume its infected thats of course wrong. Two variables are modified
    in the decoding loop the "38h" are subracted by "4h".

    Nice prog, but why "Windows 8 Product Key Viewer"? It does support many Windows OS's so..
    Should be "Windows Product Key Viewer" or "Windows OS Product Key Viewer"
    :)

    Ok.

    Could you please post the key that aida64 lists for win8 WDP and then list the correct key for win8 WDP.

    This key retriever should work when Windows 8 goes finale, but we can only be sure when Windows 8 is finale.
