Thanks for this, it seems to work pretty darn good. I ran it and installed one update and hid two, then I ran the regular windows update and the two were still hidden.
Sorry folks. Didnt mean to start a flame war and most certainly didnt mean to insult the OP. Just never saw FF flag up anything before, so must have been some weirdness as discussed and proven. Tested the app out in a virtual machine and works fantastic and does exactly what I had wanted. This would seem to be a huge advance in the "goofy Win10 Updates saga" and I for one would like to say a huge thanks to the OP for it. Peace.
It's a shame this false positive issue. It's a shame people in here has dedicated from post #6 till #38, for the time being, to get alarmed for something so simple and already answered and spoiling this thread with this off-topic crap. Perhaps those posters are M$ spy agents to spoil threads with sensitive and promising info/solutions? I'm getting a bit conspiranoid. Please stop this virus crap and read previous posts.
