Interesting. Then it should be also noted, that you can get CAB from any MSU by: Code: expand -F:* update.msu C:\UpdateCAB And DISM command for adding CAB is as this: Code: DISM /Online /Add-Package /PackagePath:update.cab
They just want more money same as you, me and everybody else. ) When somebody has enough money to buy new CPU, MS thinks, that the person also should give some money to MS for W10. )
Hello folks, since the the cumulative update of 12.04.2017 AND the update to the latest version of WUMT (20.12.2016) yesterday, WUMT produces the following result: [09:18:23]: Translated by Mr.X [09:18:23]: Windows Update Agent version: 8.0 (10.0.15063.0) [09:19:21]: Searching for updates [09:23:06]: An error has occurred: 0x80240438 This can be repeated, DISM repair etc has been done to no effect. Same effect on 2 PCs here. Automatic Updates are disabled via WUMT Strangely, when I re-enable automatic updates and let Windows do the update, it found 2 Office 2013 updates without any error message. I am running Win10Pro64 German Any idea ?
Did all the above - no effect. DISM always says that source files cannot be found though i am 1000% sure that my syntax is right... only thing that works is offline mode. Is there a command line option to start wumt searching automatically for updates in offline mode ?
Did some notice to that it show 2 same CU updates with a little difference in the name like CU For Windows 10 Version 1703 for x64 based systems (KB4020102) And the other i not remember how it was called, because it changed after restart. But in the log i see them still 2 times. but now with same name, and both are same size of 531,25 Mb. And notice that with the Nvidia driver to, but i not use them, i use those from nvidia site or get updated via GF Experience.
Superseded means that WUMT also shows updates that are replaced (superseded) by newer editions like all CU's for 10. Update services means either Windows Update or Microsoft Update (includes other MSFT software too), the other 2 options i never used.
Hello! I want to re-install system on my PC. Can I use WUMT to download updates for "future", for fresh installation? I mean updates, that are already installed on my current system.
Of course you can, and how. Read: https://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/windows-update-minitool.64939/page-37#post-1331372 and https://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/windows-update-minitool.64939/page-37#post-1331376
Can't I just "Check for updates", "Select all", "Download only, no install", and after it's finished copy folder to let's say USB drive. On freshly installed system could I run your tool and just "Install updates"?
