Hi, I have a question about WOW6. The first part on the WOW6 thread say you have to create a boot floppy which I did and it works fine. The question I have is it says "It'll execute WoW and boots to Vista(bootloader)". How does it do that? Am I suppose to have the WoW6.0.1_NOMBR_HP.exe on that floppy in order to do that? If so, how do i execute it in a DOS prompt? If the program is not the way to go, how do I execute WOW in DOS prompt? Next question I have is, after executing WOW at DOS prompt, how do I get the HP certificate? I appreciate any help given. thx
The WoW6.0.1_REMOVABLE_HP.rar - Floppy/CD/Flash images-03/01/2009 is made to test if WoW works. The WoW6.0.1_NOMBR_HP.exe - Auto Installer-03/01/2009 is the installer version. It doesn't need a floppy, just boot to Vista and install it. The cert. is included at the installer. Please read post 1 again for instructions.
Yen, I installed WOW6 on my win server 2008 without any errors but when i went to activate it I received the following erro r msg "error code 0x80070584. Operation returned because timeout period expired." Any idea what is causing this and is there a way to fix it? thx
