Bypass Windows 7 Extended Security Updates Eligibility

Same issue. Tried twice. Received this error: “Failure to configure Windows updates. Reverting Changes. Do not turn off your computer”

Has anyone tried these other updates:

KB4577010 - Cumulative Security Update for Internet Explorer 11

KB4577053 - Security Only Quality Update for Windows 7

I also had this "reverting changes" message, but I managed to install kb4577051 successfully using Standalone Installer for Windows ESU updates without bypass - W7ESUI

How did you proceed?

Uninstall Bypass v7?

Run the .cmd on W7ESUI?

 

There is no need to uninstall V7 bypass, just download and extract W7ESUI and put *.msu files to folder with W7ESUI and run .cmd as administrator.

 

IE11 does the same "reverting changes" thing

Probably, but the secu quality rollup is enough to install.

 

Not with SecOnly, then IE11 is required.

 

Not sure what I'm doing wrong but I downloaded and extracted the folder, right click to run W7ESUI with kb4577051 in the same folder but nothing. There's three menu options:

! - Target
2 - Updates
E - Extraction Directory

I'm pressing 2.

 

Sure, I did it only to try and isolate the problem

 

My GiF creation didn't finish successfully because of lack of free space for the capture software to run on, i am redoing it now.

 

I'm pressing 0, since then he has been installing.
