Can't do it at the moment, but does PhoenixTool not work to update it to the DELL SLIC v2.5?

I can use it to make 2.1 through 2.4 but when I try 2.5 it results in a 2.0 marker. Between each version only the 48_9.rom file changes but with the 2.5 attempts it also modifies 49_10.

    I'm using PhoenixTool 2.73.

I manually edited the 48_9.rom with the 2.5 data and the new BIOS file seems to have updated correctly.
Thanks for the vbios mods @tqhoang I've been using them for years!

Hi all, old post but just wanted to say thank you for this find and fix. Bought old Vostro 1500 for my kids and its been blue screening on windows 7 32bit ever since installed. Hopefully this bios mod will fix all my problems. Cheers
