changing it to Channel or removing the line still gives the same error. man I'm about to pull out my hair... generic nonsensical errors are the worst EDIT: omfg fixed it.... it was the removeAll line..... I don't know why the dumb ODT couldn't say so, or just ignore it (<RemoveMSI All="True"/> works fine though, the other did not, maybe that one was only relevant in Office365 2016)
How to configure retail image of Office 2019 ProPlus during installation? I would like to exclude few apps from it during setup. TIA!
Thanks! Is it possible for Office 2019 ProPlus Retail.img? Where to place the configuration file in this image?
Didn't hear back about my post from a few pages ago. Might someone please offer advice as to why I couldn't install Office 2019 on Windows 7 via OfficeRTool as detailed above (as MS suggests I can't install on Win7 anyway)? Thank you, Andrew
Yes just extract the IMG to a location https://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/discussion-microsoft-office-2019.75232/page-32#post-1466268 https://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/discussion-microsoft-office-2019.75232/page-36#post-1466681 Post #1 has all the answers
Either of these methods mean, I will have the latest img/iso WITH updates... [previous versions, what used to be download and slip streaming updates in the updates folder]?
Hi, in my recent experience with office 2019, it messes up badly old complex excel workbooks or worksheets, erases formats, formulas, and objects, I had to go back to office 2016 wich did not harm a certain very large and complex excel 97-2003 workbook I use everyday, with many macros, formulas, objects, and formats, besides that, in my case it did not added any extras worth the trouble. So try it with caution on important old excel sheets.
