    Enable these two registry settings, it fixes the CPU utilization issue and the unresponsive taskbar search box.
    Code:
    Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

    [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Search]
    "AllowCortana"=dword:00000001
    "BingSearchEnabled"=dword:00000001

    Fix for .10015 not installing (amd64 only):
    1. Expand the update cab
    2. Download the attached 18.js into amd64_microsoft-windows-c..cal.desktop.cortana_31bf3856ad364e35_10.0.18362.10015_none_85d19b76e41b1fb3 directory (there should be no other files in this directory but three subfolders f and n and r)
    3. Install the update using MUM file
    This fix works only for .10015 and will NOT work for any future updates.

    If you care about Edge linking to My Phone and Continue on PC stay away from that. it broke the function for me and after I uninstalled Edgium and the old Edge got unhidden it still doesn't work properly, after numerous resets of both apps.

    Well, the fact is I do not use EDGE, chrome+firefox for more than a decade, when the new (STABLE) EDGE will release, I'll test it & then decide whether to use it or not. And about my phone, I completely removed that from my custom made Win ISO as I don't use that either.

    I had this happen on three computers with .325 as well. This fixed the two laptops, but had no affect on the desktop; it still has a high CPU usage for SearchUI.exe after checking the registry and rebooting twice.

    Is Fluent Design Dead ?
    Peter Skillman has left Microsoft. Peter was Design Manager for Microsoft. He was in charge of Design for Windows, Skype, & Outlook. He & his Team are responsible for the current Personalization App in Windows 10. He has not said what his next Job might be.

    If you don't think this post should be here then in what Thread ?

    Because installing Windows and not having any internet browser would kinda suck...
