When the novice takes one minute to read and check he is not a novice anymore Personally i have never even used the option "for personal use". In the past the domain join or offer online account was in plain sight but now people just have to use the other option and have an offline account.
Anyone on supported hardware getting these updates? Planning on upgrade to 22621 on my supported system tonight/tomorrow but would be nice to know for others too.
Error: 1726 is not always harmful error, sometime DISM just fail to unload the mounted image registry hives that's why i add dism.exe /Get-Packages command after each servicing commands, because it recover and unload the hives if you look at the next command, you would see "Image Version: 10.0.22621.3" meaning, the LCU was added successfully to winre.wim
I've already done in that way. The only thing I can't understand is that before I could select "Set up for personal use", while now I have to say I'm using PC for organization or school. That's it. There is no reason to say you have to repeat multiple times yourself and I'm very sorry if I have wasted your time mate.
It's not you only but so many people read those s**tty copy/paste tech articles and we have shown that their info just isn't (100%) correct and even more keep repeating the bad info.
Not that i know of. On your system you need to be enrolled into the beta or rp channel to even get it offered, and when it's offered you need to bypass the checks to get it installed (when on unsupported hardware).
Also, b22621-1 W11 tries to download an update called strangely "Windows 11, version 22H2", which only contains these FODs and has many problems installing correctly: Microsoft-OneCore-Graphics-Tools-Package~31bf3856ad364e35~amd64~~.cab Microsoft-Windows-LanguageFeatures-Basic-en-us-Package~31bf3856ad364e35~amd64~~.cab Microsoft-Windows-LanguageFeatures-Handwriting-en-us-Package~31bf3856ad364e35~amd64~~.cab Microsoft-Windows-LanguageFeatures-OCR-en-us-Package~31bf3856ad364e35~amd64~~.cab Microsoft-Windows-LanguageFeatures-Speech-en-us-Package~31bf3856ad364e35~amd64~~.cab Microsoft-Windows-LanguageFeatures-TextToSpeech-en-us-Package~31bf3856ad364e35~amd64~~.cab Microsoft-Windows-Printing-PMCPPC-FoD-Package~31bf3856ad364e35~amd64~cs-cz~.cab Microsoft-Windows-Printing-PMCPPC-FoD-Package~31bf3856ad364e35~amd64~~.cab Microsoft-Windows-Printing-WFS-FoD-Package~31bf3856ad364e35~amd64~cs-cz~.cab Microsoft-Windows-Printing-WFS-FoD-Package~31bf3856ad364e35~amd64~~.cab Microsoft-Windows-RasCMAK-Client-Package~31bf3856ad364e35~amd64~cs-cz~.cab Microsoft-Windows-RasCMAK-Client-Package~31bf3856ad364e35~amd64~~.cab Microsoft-Windows-RasCMAK-Client-Package~31bf3856ad364e35~wow64~cs-cz~.cab Microsoft-Windows-RasCMAK-Client-Package~31bf3856ad364e35~wow64~~.cab Microsoft-Windows-Xps-Xps-Viewer-Opt-Package~31bf3856ad364e35~amd64~~.cab b22621-3 W11 doesn't download that update.
Is there any way to delete this? Windows Update is always prompting now Windows 11, version 22H2 and when I click Descargar e instalar (Download and install in English) it doesn't do anything. Thanks!
BTW: If you have ReFS drive, then after doing rollback from b22261 to b22000, your ReFS drive will be inaccessible.
That has been reported a few times and i can't reproduce it, when 22621 is installed i don't see it offered again on WU. Maybe wait till MSFT solves it or try to reset WU (at your own risk of course).
It only appears, when "non-updated" b22261-1 is installed (from UUP). In my case, I did a rollback to b22000 and then installed WIM with LCU b22621-3 included. Then this "s**t-update" won't be offered.
Yes But i doubt DISM can handle the LCU in psf/cab format, testing now. @Warkratos check my edit above
