What do you mean by integrating the language pack and/or the windows update after the installation of the OS? I could have done that using this tool but before the installation, not after. Regardless of that, it isn't the first, second or third time that this happens to me. I also had this problem in another PCs, which is even stranger. Is it possible to remove the system apps from the Start Menu and/or to uninstall them (after I installed the OS), anyway? I tried deleting the Database folder inside the TileDataLayer one but nothing happened.
Thank you very much, MSMG - I have been waiting for the calculator integration to work properly for some time now. After some testing, this now works. Win32Calculator is something I use regularly and i hate the metro version. I still have an issue with Sticky Notes, as described in #3551. But as this is something I can install separately after installing Windows 10, I am not too bothered by this. Thank you for your effort and work, MSMG.
Using ToolKit v7.7 with a Source Windows 10 2016 LTSB (en_windows_10_enterprise_2016_ltsb_x64) and Advanced Windows Component Menu (A - K), I selected B/C/ E/ F/ J in sequence... (B) Microsoft Edge Browser App package(s) failed to be identified / removed... All other Advanced Component Menu items selected were identified and removed without errors...
I think I have come across as problem with my Windows 10 x86 Enterprise build running on VirtualBox. When I try to run programs by right clicking then selecting on "Run as administrator", I get a message "The extended attributes are inconsistent." This happens for anything I choose to run as an administrator - either from the desktop or start menu. I shall try reinstalling the virtual machine again. If that fails, I shall then rebuild the ISO once more.
I notice there is a grey line under the xbox app in the start menu. Is there a way to remove it? It only shows under that app.
I have that problem when I use NTLite and try to open some of the remaining apps that I didn't remove with the program and they keep loading forever (I think) so that's why I use this tool instead of NTLite.
Hei man, i had translation the Toolkit to Chinese, Need your authorization. My Chinese ID is pk0377 Thanks.
Since Windows LTSB does not have Microsoft Edge, I would assume that "error" is simply a false positive... Although be it accurate, since there is nothing to identify or remove (in which case it technically is not an error). In other words, you're good and should have nothing to worry about.
Good point... Maybe Microsoft Edge Browser App should be removed from the Remove Advanced Windows Components Menu for Windows LTSB... ???
That really would add a lot of more work to poor @MSMG who does this for free in his free time. He would need to amend the script for that particular index, whenever that index was reported. The message, although alarming, is indeed accurate. I guess he could change the wording from "Microsoft Edge Browser App package(s) failed to be identified / removed" to "Microsoft Edge Browser App package(s) failed to be identified / removed (disregard message if LTSB)" That would achieve the desire goal without adding more work or code.
I know people love using this tool on Windows 10, but I decided to do a bit of a flashback and install Windows 7 Enterprise. 7.7 worked flawlessly. Nice job @MSMG Spoiler Now if only if I could remove Windows Defender Windows Security Center UPnP I guess, for now, disabled it good enough.
I was able to resolve the grey line problem under the xbox by updating the app in via the app store. Once the app is updated the grey line disappears.
When I mount the wim, then I select 2 (the convert menu),it will open the Integrate menu。。。 System OS:14294 Pro Workstation Wim :14296 Enterprise
