I was wondering if one could create a script during format that will let us choose which Metro apps to be installed. Like AROMA OPENGAPPS on Android.

Thanks, Yes it was just a guess as the Xbox Identity Provider App is a requirement for Core Metro Services and so I had suggested it to try, even for RS1 initially it was retained for store and later removed it from the requirement list.

Will find out what's the actually dependent package.

The Language Packs/Language Feature Packs/WinPE Language Packs should be copied to <Packs\LangPacks\<OS>\<Arch>\<Language>> folder.

The filename should be in their internal package name, like

    Code:
    Microsoft-Windows-Client-LanguagePack-Package~31bf3856ad364e35~amd64~en-GB~10.0.16299.15.cab
    Microsoft-Windows-LanguageFeatures-Basic-en-GB-Package~31bf3856ad364e35~amd64~~10.0.16299.15.cab
    Microsoft-Windows-LanguageFeatures-Handwriting-en-GB-Package~31bf3856ad364e35~amd64~~10.0.16299.15.cab
    Microsoft-Windows-LanguageFeatures-OCR-en-GB-Package~31bf3856ad364e35~amd64~~10.0.16299.15.cab

It will require a lot of code re-work and I don't have much time to do, the best I can do now is will add a separate menu "Remove Apps from Using Apps List" which will remove all apps present in a RemoveAppsList.txt file.

    @ All

I have finished updating the ToolKit's Integration, Conversion, Remove Apps sections to fully support Windows 10 RS3.

Still Remove Windows Components needs to be updated and also creating new pack for RS3 is pending, so please do wait for a while.

Also I have started working on a new mechanism for Component Removal which will be soon added to the ToolKit for testing.

    Just a very minor thing...

Doing the conversion from core to pro workstation generates an image which is still marked as core, everything works as expected then

Excuse my ignorance, as I know only Fortran(please don't laugh xD) and I'm not sure how these scripts work, but coudln't the user create a .txt file where he inputs the corresponding letters for each individual app. Eg if the .txt has a,b,c,d,e,f,g then the script will delete the corresponding apps. To my understanding, it's a simple subroutine.

If I (attempt) to make the changes, will you merge it into future versions? Your method works too... but perhaps we'll need one for 4-3-2 as well.

For Windows 8.1 a RemoveAppsList.txt file is sufficient. Some registry tweaks are optional. But removing components consists of removing packages only.

For Windows 10 you need to remove some leftover services.

    - List of packages removed with MSMG Toolkit in Windows 8.1 Source OS (Except for IE11 and Search):
    Microsoft-Hyper-V-ClientEdition-Package
    Microsoft-Hyper-V-Common-Drivers-Package
    Microsoft-Hyper-V-Guest-Integration-Drivers-Package
    Microsoft-Hyper-V-Server-Drivers-Package
    Adobe-Flash-For-Windows-Package
    Checkpoint-VpnPlugin-Package
    Checkpoint-VpnPlugin-Package~31bf3856ad364e35
    F5-VpnPlugin-Package
    F5-VpnPlugin-Package~31bf3856ad364e35
    Juniper-VpnPlugin-Package
    Juniper-VpnPlugin-Package~31bf3856ad364e35
    Microsoft-Windows-Camera-Package
    Microsoft-Windows-Embedded-EmbeddedLockdown-Package-TopLevel
    Microsoft-Windows-FileManager-Package
    Microsoft-Windows-MediaPlayer-Package
    Microsoft-Windows-ParentalControls-Package
    Microsoft-Windows-Shell-HomeGroup-Package
    Microsoft-Windows-Store-Client-Package
    Microsoft-Windows-SystemRestore-Package
    SonicWALL-VpnPlugin-Package
    SonicWALL-VpnPlugin-Package~31bf3856ad364e35
    Windows-Defender-Client-Package
    Windows-Defender-Group-Policy-Package

    - Registry Tweaks for 8.1 by the Toolkit (They serve for Windows 10 but have others besides these).
Load Image Registry with the Toolkit run the commands and then Unload Image Registry.
    Code:
:: Disable Malicious Software Removal Tool Update Offering Through Windows Update
    reg add "HKLM\TK_HKLM_SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\MRT" /v "DontOfferThroughWUAU" /t REG_DWORD /d "1" /f >nul 2>&1

    reg add "HKLM\TK_HKLM_SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\Explorer" /v "NoUseStoreOpenWith" /t REG_DWORD /d "1" /f >nul 2>&1
