I assume you already know this but with the current toolkit you can't access option 2 on the "Remove Windows Components Menu", [2] Advanced Windows Components. Instead of loading that menu the toolkit attempts to execute option [J] Windows Take Test App removal again.
Use the trick of @dhjohns to correct that for removing windows Components Toolkit 8.2 does not work completly with 1803 build 10.,0.17115.1 can't remove advanced windows components returns with nothing Open Toolkit.cmd in notepad.exe. Select Edit -> Replace. In the Find what box put in Code: if "%ImageBuild%" equ "16299" and in the Replace with box put in Code: if "%ImageBuild%" geq "16299" Click Replace All. Save. Now the toolkit will modify what you want. This does not guarantee that stuff will be removed. For example, the toolkit did NOT remove Defender, but I was successful in removing other things.
It does not work to integrate .Net 3.5 into image 17133.1 (1803). what package to use for integration? from the image of 17133.1 is not suitable.
Check the First Post for the instructions or in the readme.txt inside the ToolKit's Archive folder, just follow the instructions specified for Windows 10 TH2-RS3/Server 2016.
The Dart will be same for all Windows 10 versions until a new version is released, the only thing that changes for now for each version is the Debug Tools. When the RS4 SDK is released, I will update the Debug Tools.
The MS have changed the .NET FX 3.5 package cab filename for RS4: From : microsoft-windows-netfx3-ondemand-package.cab To: Microsoft-Windows-NetFx3-OnDemand-Package~31bf3856ad364e35~x86~en-US~.cab I have started updating the ToolKit for RS4 and fixed the below issue and it will be available in the next release.
Did you happen to remove Internet Explorer from the .iso? If so that seems to be the problem with windows update not able to install updates. I did remove it and now its broken.. will redo the .iso again later tonight without removing IE.
works like charm on windows 8.1 with update iso, removed all store apps and unnecessary features and integrated net framework 4.7.1, and i successfully used that iso to install a fresh copy of windows 8.1 on my laptop, can't be more satisfied after the bad experience that i had with windows 10 last week, it seems that my device is not really liking win10 even if it has a i5 3d gen processor and 8gb of ram, it was really so slow as i was running on intel celeron or something, even with using all famous tweaks and tools that remove all those forced things by microsoft, still didn't get any better, even worst it was taking about 6 minutes or more to just boot and most of the time my hard disk usage was 100% even after disabling all bits wauserv wsearch superfetch services and all, i don't know if it's just my device or is it widnows 10 that it is bad.
