And the issue will be that future updates will undo this. If you were to do this to 1903/1909 and then upgrade to 20H1/20H2, Defender will be fully restored.
- I see you are not integrating the updates required by component removal. - Do you use both the Remove Package and Remove Apps using list method which is not recommended, either use the one method.
Sir, Is that the reason for the 3 ISOs were unsuccessful with the toolkit ? And by updates you mean windows updates ?. Sorry I dont know what updates I have to integrate for the component removal to work properly. Could you please edit the above method I have posted to include the updates ?. And Yes, I used both the removeappslist.txt and removepkgslist.txt to remove windows apps and components. You mean I have to remove either the apps or the components manually one by one ? That is a tedious process isnt it ?. I followed the same procedure for 1909 October 2020 update and the ISO was generated without any integrity violations. Thanx

Note: The Toolkit supports updates either in .msu/.cab format. if using WHD Update Pack Menu, then Copy the Windows 10 WHD Update Pack files to Toolkit's <WHD\w10\<Architecture> folder (E.g. <WHD\w10\x64>). Copy Windows Cumulative Update file to <WHD\w10\<Architecture>\Cumulative> folder (E.g. <WHD\w10\x64\Cumulative>). Copy Windows WinPE Update files to <WHD\w10\<Architecture>\WinPE> folder (E.g. <WHD\w10\x64\WinPE>). If removing Windows Apps then don't remove it using both Windows App using Apps List (DISM Method) Windows Package using Package List (ToolKitHelper Method)
Can I ask you to enlighten an issue that is still on my mind?.. I have (KB4580979) the latest cumulative update of .NET Framework(s) in "WHD\NetCumulative" subfolder... As a result of adding the "NetFX35" and/or "NetFX48" package(s) towards the end of the custom ISO preparation process (after the cleanup of source image), shouldn't necessary this cumulative update be reinstalled? P.S.: I'm using "en_windows_10_enterprise_ltsc_2019_x64_dvd_5795bb03.iso" for preparation. (Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC 2019, Consumer, x64, en-US, version 1809, build 17763.316)
You need to Integrate the .NET FX35 / .NET FX48 before the updates integration. Use the Integrate -> Windows Features -> .NET Framework 3.5 or .NET Framework 4.8 Make sure you need to copy the .NET FX35 or .NET FX48 pack to Packs folder.
Thank you very much for your prompt and kind response... The reason I was confused was that in the "README.txt" file it was suggested to add the "NetFX35" package after the source image file was cleaned. Again, I want to thank you for all your ongoing efforts!
Add ;ms-settings:mobile-devices to SettingsPageVisibility under [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer]
I haven't checked this feature yet, but need to look at it.. UPD. : I checked, there is no such possibility. The storage is still under testing. Currently, there is a minimum number of account settings. Perhaps some more features will be added in the future.
Sir actually I have used DISM method for removing Apps and toolkithelper method for removing packages when testing the above ISOs. I am sorry i have mistakenly stated that I have used the same method for apps and packages. Now for integrating VC runtimes, should I do it along with directx 9.0c integration itself ?. Thanx
Of course but that is not the topic of our conversation. We are talking about removing Defender in a way that prevents its eventually reinstall.
The message was something like - due to a bug in this version this ability is removed. It said that for almost all removal. I tried to use package list like you did but i do not really know how to do that so, no success. Yes, i am a newbee to this. Question: how do i use package list?
https://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/msmg-toolkit.50572/page-793#post-1606110 Sent an 2020-11-16 updated file in the link above. Spoiler: CHANGELOG 2020-11-16 At the beginning of the month, the merge was performed with Toolkit 10.7 and then with 10.8. But CustomToolkit was not released due to implementations that were completed on 2020-11-16. The menu paths mentioned or described in tutorial mode, both in the CustomTookit download topic and here in the changelogs, have been updated due to the Menu reorganization update promoted by @MSMG in the Official Toolkit. * Removed that function of applying the tweaks through questions and answers. In exchange for this, it was implemented in the entire script that when you are working on a specific menu when completing a task, you return to the previous menu (in this case, the menu you were already in). To return to the main menu, just press X - X - X ... This makes it a little easier. * Added a question for those who work with the images, to be able to select the preferred indexes. "Do you want to remove the Indexes from unselected images?" Yes that's right. Removal of those not selected immediately after the initial selection! If you don't want to, at this point, for any reason, just use the Trim function within the Apply Menu before proceeding to save. I believe that the exclusion is recommended at the beginning, except for the example I mention in the question during the script, in Select Source. * Previously, in a version that was not even released, it was necessary to make the choices so that they were arranged in an ascending manner. Then a feature called "Sorting to Ascending Order" was implemented. Now, you can select 10,7,2,4 and after the removal the selected images 2,4,7,10 will be there from 1 to 5. After that the Image Index Number will be set as "A" and the mounting process will start. * The "Rebuild Source" session was merged with "Save Source": when saving, the service will be executed in full. There is no need to remember to do one last task. So, to make it clearer, at the end, it will be carried out in the rebuild source procedure that is already part of the saving process. * Palliative fix: Added the function to select the Index, in the ExtractSourceMCT session. * In the sessions of conversion or extracting from ESD to Wim, the compression is Default (smaller) with the parameter "fast". The purpose is to perform the task more quickly, the maximum compression will only be defined for tasks to finalize your modifications and save. Other tasks like export, trim of Image Indexes, etc ... continue with Maximum compression with the parameter "max" Note: About changelogs: which mention details about obsolete things (no longer present in CustomToolkit) will be removed from the list. I will leave only the changelogs that still have pertinent information. Spoiler: CHANGELOG 2020-11-05 Merged with Toolkit 10.8. Spoiler: CHANGELOG 2020-11-03 Merged with Toolkit 10.7. Thnks!

Yes you can Integrate DirectX and VC at once.
That issue is not fixed yet, you can use the package list method for the mean time. Check in [Bin\Lists\ToolKitHelper_Templates] folder and choose the list according to your OS and copy the required entries to RemovePkgsList.txt in [Bin\Lists] folder. Now use the Remove->Remove Windows Components using Package List->Remove Windows Components using Package List (ToolkitHelper Method) menu.
