Everyone wants it added but no one will share the needed info so no it is not included as of yet.

The 256kb file size limit only applies to 'Backgrounds' .jpg images... The 'Wallpaper' .jpg images can be of greater size to allow higher defininition images to be used as desktop display.

If saving space is higher priority, and you have reduced 'Wallpaper' .jpg's to under 256kb, then why have duplicate images (ie, same images, same sizes) in 'Backgrounds' and 'Wallpapers' folders... just delete backgrounds folders and contents, and have oobe.cmd create 'Backgrounds' folder when required, and copy .jpg's from 'Wallpaper' folder to 'Backgrounds' folder during oobe process.

I noticed some over the 256 size in backgrouds folder thus breaking it. You guys are just making me do thing more then twice when it isn't needed all because everyone is curious. I am going to start this whole process from scratch. We have way to many hands in the cookie jar and all it is doing is breaking it. I am not happy about this! I do not have the time to keep correcting what people fk up!

I am making this closed source totally now to keep this from happening in the future or I will just be correcting every ones mistakes all the time and time is something I don't have much of.

I fully agree with your plan :)

This will give you creative freedom over the work you have started.

I would encourage you to put a silent install option into it :D

I am actually going to pay a person money to close source this because it is worth it to me. Once it is done, its done completely and will no longer be updated. This has actually turned into a nightmare for me and everyone thinks I have nothing better to do but sit behind the computer and do this project. I have a real life I would like to enjoy.

Everyone has a personal life they do not share on forums. I would recommend telling your man to add a silent install switch option to the install.

It is up to you what you do with your project man. You always have full control over it and can take it any direction you want.

The whole process will be silent and the only thing the oobe will do is run an exe....plus images will be locked down as well. Like I said I am paying to have this totally locked down. I am really upset over this. I wanted it to be open source but that doesn't work in this situation because everyone wants to control it. Time has come for this madness to end. I would like to go fishing. :)

I can completely comprehend what you mean. (Had felt it on my own....modding bioses manually, SLIC tool project, developing SLICing methods)
But it is actually a false perception. People do not think you have nothing better to do...all people ask you for a own favour, it is the huge amount of interest that summarizes.
People know that you are making a voluntary job, BUT nobody stops when favours are done continuously. Why should they stop to ask?

You need to take your time and when fun and joy are gone you need to take a break. You need to say no then already!

When joy and fun come back then go on, if not, then don't continue. You just need to reflect yourself and to be honest to yourself. Nobody wants that you live a nightmare. And I am sure since everybody respects what you are doing, everybody would also respect your mentioned concerns.... :)

Alphawaves has told me the same in so many words. I am going to take yours and Alphawaves advice and take a break. I will upload searchengines original project to replace this broken one until I feel the closed source is ready. I need to learn to just say no to everyone and leave it at that. I do understand and agree with you. Its on me and I will handle it. It just gets frustrating redoing the same thing over and over again but this wont be an issue in the future. ;)

The moment you feel entrapped by a project is the moment when you should move on. My view is that if I'm not excited by a project that is being done I'll simply move on. Also you are the man on this you can tell people no. Projects like these are stressful and take long hours to do. However when they are done or gain the notice of most people on the forum you will be supported regardless of your decision. Everyone has to start somewhere and end up somewhere ;)

Run the query tool and save results text to desktop then upload to a server and send me the link here in this thread. Probably don't have correct cert or key if not both, your model might not be included, you might not have slic 2.1 in your bios. There are a lot of factors. If you share the needed info I might be able to add it real fast. ;)

The reason I ask you to run the query tool is that the code is based off the project and will output needed info to determine the problem. If the machine is not a true oem (for win7 you need slic 2.1 in bios at least in order to oem activate), then of course it will fail. You would then need to use windows loader by Daz. The query tool would tell me everything I need to know. Hope this helps. :)
