Its annoying and downright criminal that ms doesnt appear to be giving 1809 the Ryzen scheduler fix that 1903 is getting even though they swore there was nothing wrong with the scheduler. Dont mean beans to me right now because i am on intel, no funky core layouts here.
That smells like an act pro Intel/MSFT alliance and against AMD. As being said already. LTSC is used to have a validated environment, as long as possible (WU policy). Scientific devices are mostly sold together with a PC (hardware) and a pre-installed OS. We must not change any hardware, else we'd break validation. This means any future combinations would rather be based on Intel CPUs.
They wont fix it on 1809 because all the gamers that this issue affects would use LTSC and they want them all on crap filled vanilla editions. LTSC isnt the holy grail but it is a step in the right direction.
I got burned badly doing removals on LTSB 2016 and ive got the scars to prove it , thats why i just do custom cleanups tweaks and disable

Thats very good going I havnt done any removals, LTSC non N. Without metro, how did you do that? Im trying to get the most i can without any removals or tools, default install and tweaked only. Maybe a few kludges here and there
Thats a hell of a gain but i dont want to break explorer. It may be a step too far. 4 to 5000(?) handles is damn tempting though I dont use the fart menu much, does win+x bit work and still get shutdown etc?
Ahh. Explorer still works? hmm Put a shortcut to control panel on desktop, a few other shortcuts, i dont see much of a problem. The gains would be very welcome on 2c/2t up to 4c/4t so cheap to reasonable laptops. There will be a lot of horsepower left on 4c/t. Mine and Tairikus gets ram down to 8%, 8gb, 128mb for igpu, 5 to 6% at least.
duno if its worth the gain trying and tweaking for fast pcs services tweaks helps a lot no need lite too much but also old pcs dont gain much going extreme and losing features
