Can I use this on a freshly installed windows then begin using windows update client normally? Or do I have to download the updated simplix updatepack every month to get new updates?
Is there a better option for updating a freshly installed sp1 media refresh windows without using the windows update client to download all the updates at first?
You could consider WHD + WHD-Windows7-Updates-Installer 4.9, i think simplix update pack is the easiest, ready made and simple to use for bulk updating.
Hi guys do I miss something? How to run simplix update pack to install the WA addons (dx, .net, vcredist). I haven't seen switches to do this, and by only placing these addons (x64 ones) next to the installer gives me no result, only updates are installed but no addons. But I think I had seen a log that was about installing these to a live system not just integrating. I do use updatepack with this code: "UpdatePack7R2.exe /silent /reboot". I used the latest April pack and the latest Abbodi addons.
Integrated to an installer image or installed on a live system (the latter is that I'm trying to do unsuccessfully)?
Offline means integrating the updates to a mounted install.wim, i don't think it works when using the pack online, but never tested myself, i never use it online.

Because, it seems untouched after integrating the updates into the Install.wim. I have used this command line. /Wimfile=H:\Win7x64\sources\install.wim /Index=* /IE11 /NVMe /Optimize Im I missing anything? Thank you once again!
UpdatePack only services install.wim and winre.wim, for boot.wim you need to do it yourself by dism or you can use Boss911's tool* or the MDL SiMPLiX AiO ISO creation tool. *
Problably i'm very stupid to not understand that Right now i have to help a my friends whit a notebook and i need to reinstall windows 7.... i have download the iso from TechBench mirrors on first page (thanks for that) and i have also download the "UpdatePatch-19.5.15.exe". My question it's... it's a tools to add all patch to the iso downloaded or it's a tools for install all update immediatelly after the installation it's completed ? I have also right now read a translated guide... apparently (if i understand correctly) i need to use somethigs like UltraISO to extract ISO right ? After right now need to use a admin command prompt to launch the updatepatch how i want to integrate in the iso. When it's complete need to rebuild the ISO ? It's correct ?
