Windows 10 Imaging, Customization and Deployment

Win10 ADK under Win7 cannot service images other that Win10 (i.e. 7/8/8.1)
but under Win8.1 it's working fine for all

 

On my system it's working flawlessly with DISM from ADK in DandISetEnv.bat environment.

Thank you for this information! Why would they do this? (using an ESD file but naming it install.wim)

 

With the Windows ADK 10, instead of using Imagex to rename the name and description of an image volume, it is possible to use the Dism command to do this?

Hi all today i am starting to work with windows 10 recovery feature and for first time i would consider to create a custom recovery image to reset PC factory settings, the command recimg not longer used.
How to start then?

Nice topic, i hope to learn something new, so, what i done so far, i done by myself a W10 AIO x86/x64 iso, worked fine, but i would like to know:
i worked only with Assessment and Deployment Kit for W10
1. how can i change the background image when i install the operating system?
2. how i integrate some drivers and some regedit tweaks?
3. if i want a open source software installed, like 7zip to be installed, how can i do that?
4. how do i add 1 or 2 languages if i have the Language Packs downloaded

I have a problem for created a DaRT iso... The program say I had not the last Dism, I have the last ADK I don't know what is problem

could you give me some tips how to make the resolution of my laptop to a higher one; since i installed Win 10,the resolution lowered (to its max. @ 800 x 600 only. How or what could I do to change to 1024?

your graphic card with latest driver will get you the best resolution available
